Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. bourbon (more if needed)
- 2 1/2 c. (approximately 5 doz.) vanilla wafers, crushed fine
- 1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans), chopped fine
Method
- Melt chocolate morsels over hot water.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in sugar and syrup.
- Blend in bourbon.
- Combine nuts and wafers. Add to chocolate mix.
- Shape into balls.
- Roll in powdered or granulated sugar.
- Store in container several days to ripen.
