Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 c. shredded cooking apples

Method

  • Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well.
  • Combine dry ingredients.
  • Add combined ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  • Mix well after each addition.
  • Fold in apples.
  • Pour into greased and floured pan (or use Baker's Joy).
  • Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
