Ingredients

  • 6 whole boneless chicken breasts (cut in half)
  • 2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • Garlic pwdr, optional

Method

  • Mix above ingredients together.
  • Place chicken in large bowl.
  • Place chicken in bowl in layers.
  • Pour lowfat sour cream mix over each layer.
  • Marinate overnight.
  • Remove chicken from bowl.
  • Roll chicken in bread crumbs.
  • Heat 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. Crisco.
  • Place chicken in oblong baking dish.
  • Spoon 1/2 of melted shortening over chicken.
  • Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 min.
  • Spoon remaining shortening over chicken.
  • Bake 15 min more.
