Ingredients

  • 2 pounds peeled and deveined jumbo or possibly large shrimp

  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking pwdr
  • oil for deep frying

Method

  • Note: since the sauce is giving the unique taste of fresh peppers, don't substitute the brand of sauce.
  • however if you are in hurry you can substitute the shrimp with store bought pre-battered frzn shrimp.
  • Sprinkle shrimp with 1 1/2 tsp.
  • salt; let stand at room temperature for 12 min.
  • Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk, cornmeal, flour, baking pwdr in mixing bowl; mix till smooth.
