Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 c. broken pecans
- 1 c. Angel Flake coconut
Method
- Blend the first 3 ingredients until fluffy; add eggs one at a time on medium mixer speed.
- Mix dry ingredients; add alternately with milk.
- Add vanilla, nuts and coconut.
- Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
- Cool.
- Remove from pan.
