Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  • In large bowl, stir flour, baking powder and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat eggs, 1 at a time.
  • Mix vanilla.
  • Stir in flour mixture.
  • Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter in pan.
