Ingredients

  • 1 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb. medium shrimp
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 16 oz. can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco
  • 1 pt. crab meat
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 3 c. cooked rice (1 1/2 dry)

Method

  • Melt cream cheese and butter in double boiler. Saute shrimp, onion, pepper and celery in 2 tablespoons butter. Mix all together and put in 3-quart casserole dish. Top with grated cheese and cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, until bubbly. Allow to stand for a while before serving. Freezes well before baking. Serves 8.
