Ingredients
- 1 12 cups cooked black beans
- 1 cup water
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Method
- In a pot over medium heat, bring beans, water, salt and cumin to a boil.
- Transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.
- Return beans to stove and simmer for 20 minutes, until thick.
- Remove from heat.
- Add cilantro and mix to combine.
