Ingredients
- 5 lb. self-rising flour
- 1 Tbsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. Crisco or whatever shortening you want to use
Method
- Sift all dry ingredients together in a very large bowl.
- Cut in the shortening until mixture is the consistency of corn meal. Store in covered container at room temperature.
- Use just like Bisquick.
