Ingredients
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- about 1 c. milk
Method
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
- Cut in shortening.
- Stir in a little milk at a time until the dough is soft and sticky.
- Put the dough on a lightly floured surface; knead lightly.
- Roll out and cut.
- Place biscuits on a lightly greased pan.
- Bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes.
