Ingredients

  • 1 c. Butter, unsalted room temp
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 c. Almond filling canned
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Almonds slice/blanch

Method

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar till smooth.
  • Add in Large eggs and blend.
  • Add in almond filling and lowfat milk and blend again.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, adn salt and add in to the creamed mix.
  • Scoop 2 rounded Tbsp.
  • of dough and roll toether to create each cookie.
  • Drop dough onto lightly greased cookie sheets, spacing the cookies 2 inches apart.
  • Press sliced almonds onto tops.
  • Bake till cookies are lightly golden brown and hard to the touch, about 15 min.
  • Using a spatula, transfer cookies to a rack and let cold.
