Ingredients
- pastry for a 2 crust 9-inch pie
- 6 medium apples, pared and cored
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Make a mixture of 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Place each apple on a 7-inch square of pastry.
- Fill the cavity of each apple with the above mixture; dot with butter and wrap. Place in oblong baking dish.
