Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- dash of allspice
- 3 Tbsp. Tapioca
- 2 lb. stew meat
- 4 large potatoes diced
- 4 carrots sliced
- 3 stalks celery chopped
- 1 29 oz. large can whole tomatoes
Method
- In a large pot, mix in order; stew meat, vegetables and seasonings.
- Add over vegetables the tomatoes and tapioca. Bake for one hour at 350°.
- Then turn oven to 300° for three hours. Bake at least 3 1/2 hours before mixing.
