Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 very ripe bananas
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 3 c. flour

Method

  • Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  • Mash bananas, add to sugar mixture.
  • Mix the baking soda in with the sour cream and then add to batter, stir in flour.
  • Bake at 325° in a 9 x 13 pan or 3 layers of 8 inch pans, till toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  • Cool and top with cream cheese or butter cream frosting.
  • Delicious without any topping.
