Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3/4 c. frozen apple juice concentrate
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 12 oz. frozen cherries, cranberries or strawberries
- 2 to 4 baking apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Method
- Combine liquid in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add fruit and apples.
- Bring to a boil; simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Make a paste of cornstarch and water and stir into the sauce.
- Stir constantly until thickened.
