Ingredients

  • 23 cups Peanuts, Salted Or Unsalted
  • 4- 1/2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
  • 1/4 cups Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cups Peanut Butter * Made From Peanuts And Oil (above)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cups Honey

Method

  • Make peanut butter by mixing nuts and oil in a food processor and pulsing for 30 second intervals until creamy and smooth.
  • Brown beef over medium heat you can leave it slightly pink since it will be baked as well.
  • When ready, remove from heat and set aside.
  • Slightly warm the beef broth in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Mix together flour and oats in a large bowl, set aside.
  • Whisk together, in a small bowl, the peanut butter, olive oil, honey and the warm beef broth.
  • Mix together the peanut butter mixture and the flour mixture until theyre mixed completely.
  • Grind the ground beef into smaller pieces in your food processor, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Add into the peanut butter mixture gently until combined.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface until its smooth and no longer sticks to your hands.
  • Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut the dough into shapes you desire.
  • Adjust the size of the cookie cutter for the size of the dog, small, medium or large.
  • Place the cookies 2 inches apart on a silicone baking mat on your cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes.
  • Then turn off oven and let treats cool in oven (with door open) for crispier treats or take out immediately and let cool on a cooling rack for 15 minutes.
