Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • butter, softened
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 large pepper, diced
  • 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Brown beef and onion.
  • Drain.
  • Add salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Cut bread lengthwise in half, butter.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Add sour cream to meat.
  • Spoon onto bread.
  • Sprinkle with tomato, pepper and cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
