Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. beef roast
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
Method
- Wash roast well.
- Slice roast in half crosswise and sprinkle with salt, pepper and dry soup mix on all surfaces.
- Chop up margarine on top of roast.
- Pour water over roast and cook overnight in crock-pot.
- In the morning, add mushroom soup and let cook until lunch.
