Ingredients

  • 8 lb. trimmed beef or venison
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 10 tsp. onion powder
  • 10 tsp. Accent
  • 2 2/3 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 12 drops liquid smoke (optional)

Method

  • Slice venison or beef in 1/8-inch strips.
  • This is easier if it is slightly frozen.
  • Combine ingredients and meat; marinate overnight.
  • Put on racks for excess marinade to drain off.
  • Put in dehydrator and cook until meat is completely dry, about 5 to 6 hours.
