- 8 lb. trimmed beef or venison
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 10 tsp. onion powder
- 10 tsp. Accent
- 2 2/3 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 1/3 c. water
- 12 drops liquid smoke (optional)
Method
- Slice venison or beef in 1/8-inch strips.
- This is easier if it is slightly frozen.
- Combine ingredients and meat; marinate overnight.
- Put on racks for excess marinade to drain off.
- Put in dehydrator and cook until meat is completely dry, about 5 to 6 hours.
