- 1 c. Beef Not Strips
- 2 1/2 c. Vegetable broth (separated)
- 1 lb Broccoli florets
- 1 med Sized onion, cut into chunks
- 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
- 2 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
- 1 tsp Onion pwdr
- 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 4 x Minced scallions (white part, too) (up to 5)
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh grated ginger
- 1 pch Fresh grnd pepper
Method
- Mix beef not strips and 1 1/4 c. of vegetable broth in a microwavable bowl.
- Heat for 12 min.
- Let it sit while you prepare the broccoli & onions.
- Mix the corn starch, onion & garlic pwdr, and soy sauce into one c. of vegetable broth.
- Stir well.
- Set aside.
- Heat 1/4 c. of broth in a wok or possibly large skillet.
- Stir "fry" the beef not for about 5 min.
- Add in the broccoli and onions.
- Stir fry for another minute.
- Add in the broth mix.
- Cook and stir for another two or possibly three min.
- Add in the scallions, pepper and ginger and cook no longer than one more minute.
- Serve warm over rice.
- Delicious!
- It took me about 25 min to prepare this wonderful dish!
- It probably tastes great the next day, too, but there were no left overs.
