Ingredients

  • 1 c. Beef Not Strips
  • 2 1/2 c. Vegetable broth (separated)
  • 1 lb Broccoli florets
  • 1 med Sized onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Onion pwdr
  • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 4 x Minced scallions (white part, too) (up to 5)
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh grated ginger
  • 1 pch Fresh grnd pepper

Method

  • Mix beef not strips and 1 1/4 c. of vegetable broth in a microwavable bowl.
  • Heat for 12 min.
  • Let it sit while you prepare the broccoli & onions.
  • Mix the corn starch, onion & garlic pwdr, and soy sauce into one c. of vegetable broth.
  • Stir well.
  • Set aside.
  • Heat 1/4 c. of broth in a wok or possibly large skillet.
  • Stir "fry" the beef not for about 5 min.
  • Add in the broccoli and onions.
  • Stir fry for another minute.
  • Add in the broth mix.
  • Cook and stir for another two or possibly three min.
  • Add in the scallions, pepper and ginger and cook no longer than one more minute.
  • Serve warm over rice.
  • Delicious!
  • It took me about 25 min to prepare this wonderful dish!
  • It probably tastes great the next day, too, but there were no left overs.
