Ingredients

  • 1/2 env. dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. vinegar or possibly red wine
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 pound beef sirloin or possibly chuck (cut in 1" cubes)

Method

  • In saucepan combine all ingredients except beef.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 20 min.
  • Cold.
  • Add in meat; toss to coat.
  • Chill overnight, drain, reserving marinade.
  • B-B-Q on shish ka bob sticks.
  • Add in fruits (pineapple is good) or possibly veggies of your choice.
  • Time to eat.
