Ingredients
- 2 lb. sirloin steak
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 large can mushrooms
- 1 c. Burgundy wine
- 2 cans onions
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
Method
- Cut steak into large cubes.
- Melt the butter in a Dutch oven. When sizzling, brown the meat.
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, covered.
- For the last 15 minutes, uncover and stir several times.
- If juice is too thin, increase heat so that excess moisture evaporates.
- Remove bay leaf and serve over noodles or rice.
