Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 c. Uncle Ben's converted rice
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce or to taste
- 2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
- 1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimento, drained
Method
- Brown beef in oil in 10-inch skillet.
- Stir in onion, rice, beef broth, 1 soup can water and soy sauce.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook over low heat until liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes.
- Stir in green peppers and pimento. Heat thoroughly.
