Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 1 pkg. frozen green peas
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 oz. sharp cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. bacon bits

Method

  • Place lettuce over bottom of pan or bowl.
  • Add onion, celery, green pepper, carrots and frozen peas, one layer at a time.
  • Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread over entire top of salad.
  • Next, add cheese as a layer, then bacon bits.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator at least 6 hours before serving.
