Ingredients
- 1 pound navy beans
- 3 quarts water
- 1 bone
- 1 cup celery
- onion 1 med., chopped
- 4 carrots sliced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- pepper
Method
- Simmer beans in water with ham bone for about 2 hours.
- Add your other ingredients and simmer 2 hours longer until beans are tender.
