Ingredients

  • Meatballs:
  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 Tbs. diced onion
  • 1 cup Minute Rice
  • 1 pinch of garlic salt + pepper
  • Sauce:
  • 2 cups Ketchup
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs. liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/3 cups dried onions

Method

  • Meatballs:
  • Mix all ingredients for meatballs in large bowl well. Then, roll into balls a little larger then golfballs. Place in 9x13 inch casserole dish, spacing evenly. Set off to the side, and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Sauce:
  • Mix all ingredients for sauce in medium sauce pan. Heat on medium-low, stirring often. Continue heating until sauce begins to boil.
  • Pour heated sauce into casserole dish, covering all meatballs in the process. Place casserole dish in oven for 1 hour, uncovered.
