Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped

Method

  • Pour milk over bread crumbs; add meat and salt and pepper. Shape into medium balls; place meatballs in casserole.
  • Combine water, catsup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, green pepper and onion.
  • Pour over meatballs.
  • Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
