Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. chili sauce or catsup
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. diced celery
- 2 Tbsp. diced onion
Method
- Brown meat in oil.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend thoroughly.
- Cook over low heat 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on hamburger buns.
- This mixture will fill 10 buns allowing 1/4 cup each.
- A relish of finely chopped cabbage and onions and pickle relish mixed with mayonnaise is good served on these.
