- 12 frankfurters, scored
- 1 small onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
Method
- Place frankfurters in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish; set aside.
- Saute onion in butter in a saucepan until tender.
- Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour over frankfurters. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 25 minutes.
- Serves 6.
