Ingredients
- 3 lb. hamburger
- 3 lb. boiled or 1 qt. chunk canned beef
- 1 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 cans chicken gumbo soup
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown hamburger and onion; drain.
- Boil beef until tender; break into stringy bits.
- Combine beef and hamburger.
- Add other ingredients; simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour over slow heat.
- This lets the flavor become savory.
- Leftovers can be frozen.
