Ingredients
- 5 lb. potatoes
- 4 large onions
- 1/4 c. bacon drippings
- 1 (20 oz.) bottle catsup
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Texas Pete
- 1/3 c. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Peel potatoes and onions and cut into large chunks. Put potatoes and onions in a large pot and cover
- with water. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
