Ingredients
- 5 lb. stew beef or lean chuck, cut up
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large bottle Open Pit
Method
- Place beef in a large pot and fill with water just to top of beef.
- Do not cover. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer for 3 to 4 hours. Remove scum as it appears on top. Pour juice into bowl. Shred beef.
- Add juice and 1 large bottle Open Pit sauce.
- Simmer 1 hour, uncovered.
