Ingredients
- 4 c. pot roast (after cooking)
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. water or broth
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 medium onions
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 Tbsp. ketchup or chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Combine vinegar and next 7 ingredients.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, then add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and meat. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes together.
