Ingredients

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 bananas
  • 1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping
  • semi-sweet chocolate, shredded
  • maraschino cherries

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, toss together the graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup melted butter.
  • Press mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • In a small bowl, beat the remaining 1/2 cup butter until softened; add powdered sugar.
  • Beat until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs.
  • Spread this mixture over crumbs.
  • Slice bananas and arrange over this mixture. Spoon pineapple over bananas, then spread thawed whipped topping over this.
  • Decorate with chocolate and cherries; refrigerate for 4 hours.
