Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. bananas
- 1 1/3 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Mix shortening and sugar.
- Add egg.
- Add bananas and beat well.
- In another bowl, combine all dry ingredients, except oats and mix well.
- Add together to sugar mixture and mix well.
- Add oats gradually and then nuts.
- Bake at 375° until brown.
