Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
  • 6 bananas
  • 3 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Method

  • Make crumbs of first 4 ingredients.
  • Bake on cookie sheet 15 to 20 minutes in 375° oven. (Watch carefully.)
  • Place half of mixture in bottom of 9x13 inch pan.
  • Slice 3 bananas over crumbs. Mix pudding with milk.
  • Beat thoroughly.
  • Add ice cream and blend well.
  • Pour over bananas.
  • Top with 3 more bananas and remaining crumbs.
  • Refrigerate 12 hours or overnight.
