Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter or other shortening
- 3/4 c. milk
Method
- Sift the dry ingredients together. Add the butter, working in with a fork. Add the milk to make a soft dough. Place on a floured board and toss lightly until the outer surface looks smooth. Roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on a greased pan and bake in a hot oven (475°) for 12 minutes.
