Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix flour and milk until smooth.
- Cook slowly until thick (medium-high heat).
- Remove from heat and refrigerate until cool. Mix cold mixture with margarine and Crisco.
- Blend altogether at low speed and add salt.
- Beat at high speed until smooth and fluffy.
- Blend in sugar (high speed) 1/4 at a time.
- Add vanilla and beat 1 minute at high speed.
