Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. round steak
  • flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • onion
  • vegetable oil

Method

  • Cut meat into serving size pieces.
  • Roll pieces in flour.
  • Fry in vegetable oil in pan until brown.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Put meat in small roaster.
  • Add flour to drippings in frypan to make gravy.
  • Add water if not right consistency.
  • Pour gravy over the meat pieces in the roaster.
  • Slice 1 large onion and place in roaster.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours and then serve.
