Ingredients
- 4 whole chicken breasts, halved and boned
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained (press out juice)
- 4 slices (about 4 x 6-inch) natural Swiss cheese
- 1/4 c. bottled Thousand Island salad dressing
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Method
- Place chicken in greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place sauerkraut over chicken.
- Top with Swiss cheese. Pour dressing evenly over cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 325° for about 1 1/2 hours or until fork can be inserted easily. Sprinkle with parsley.
- Serves 4.
