Ingredients
- 1 c. uncooked macaroni
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese (regular or light)
Method
- Cook macaroni according to package directions; put in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Melt butter in saucepan; add flour, salt, pepper and dry mustard.
- Slowly stir in milk and cook until slightly thickened.
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Pour sauce over the macaroni and stir together.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
