Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 3 cans green beans, drained
- 1 c. catsup
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 2 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish (optional)
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
Method
- Fry bacon to crisp; drain off grease.
- Place on paper towel. Cook onion and bell pepper in pan where bacon was cooked.
- Combine beans with bacon and about one tablespoon bacon drippings, catsup, sugar, onion, pepper, relish and mustard.
- Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Do not cover pan.
