Ingredients
- 1 bagette french bread, sliced
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp corn syrup
- maple syrup
Method
- Butter pan, layer bread slightly overlapping. Combine milk, eggs, cream, vanilla, spices. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight.
- Next morning preheat oven to 350. Combine butter, sugar, walnuts and corn syrup. Spread over top. Bake for 40 minutes.
