Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breast filets
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. Thousand island salad dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Method

  • Arrange chicken in greased baking pan.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Drain sauerkraut; squeeze dry.
  • Spread over chicken.
  • Top with Swiss cheese.
  • Pour salad dressing evenly over cheese.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake at 325° for about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Sprinkle with parsley.
  • Yields 4 servings.
