Ingredients
- 1 lb. navy pea beans
- salt
- onion salt
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 lb. brown sugar
- pepper
- 1 small onion, chopped
- garlic
- 1 c. molasses
- 1/4 lb. salt pork
Method
- Pick over beans; cover with water overnight.
- Parboil and rinse.
- Put in dish over salt pork.
- Add all ingredients.
- Cover with water plus 1 inch.
- Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, then at 250° for 6 hours.
