Ingredients
- 8 acorn squash, cut crosswise in slices, 1 1/4 inches thick
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. butter
Method
- Place squash rings in a single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- Add water; cover with foil.
- Bake in a 350° oven for 60 minutes.
- To serve, season with salt and pepper; dot with butter.
- Makes 8 servings.
