Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh snap green beans
- 1 package low-sodium bacon
- 5 tsp brown sugar (I use Splenda brown sugar mix)
- 5 tsp coarsely chopped pecans
- garlic salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Wash beans and snap off ends. Blanche beans by placing them in boiling water for 2 minutes, then directly into ice water for about 10-15 seconds.
- Wrap 8-10 beans in one strip of bacon, creating a bundle.
- Put bundles on cooking sheet.
- Place 1/2 tsp of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp pecans directly onto bacon on each bundle. Sprinkle each bundle with garlic salt, to taste.
- Cook at 350F for 20 minutes. Serve immediately! Serves 4-5 people.
