Ingredients
- 3 1/4 c. rigatoni
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 15 oz. crushed tomatoes
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- shredded cheese
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. chopped red pepper
- 3/4 c. water
Method
- Cook and drain rigatoni.
- In a large skillet, brown beef and drain.
- Add onion, peppers and spices.
- Cook until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste and water; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In 2-quart casserole, toss rigatoni with meat mixture.
- Cover and bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
- Top with cheese.
