Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 2/3 c. milk
- 2 12 oz. cans asparagus, drained
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 c. grated cheese
- cracker crumbs for topping
Method
- Make white sauce of butter, flour, and milk.
- Add 1/3 of the cheese and stir until melted.
- In a deep casserole dish, arrange layers of rice, asparagus, eggs, and sauce.
- Put rest of cheese on top with some crackers crumbs.
- Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
