Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. Butter
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Plus
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/3 c. Honey
  • 1/2 c. Slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Method

  • Here are some of my favorite recipes.
  • I hope you'll enjoy them as much as my family does.
  • Butter a 10" pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 400F.
  • Beat the Large eggs, sugar and vanilla till it whittens.
  • Add in the melted butter and mix well.
  • Sift the flour and BP.
  • and add in to the previous mix, mix gently.
  • Pour in the prepared pan and bake 10-12 minutes.
  • Meanwhile prepare the topping.
  • Heat the butter on med heat.
  • Add in the rest of the ingred.
  • and bring to a boil stiring constantly.
  • Pour the topping gently on the cake and return it to the oven for another 15-20 minutes.
